ABOUT
US
Intersecting forms of inequality
Trans BPOC people in Europe often come from first, second, or third-generation migrant families, with backgrounds in former colonies, diasporas, or refugee contexts. What connects us is the shared experience of living as trans BPOC in predominantly white societies.
Our communities face intersecting forms of inequality, including racism, discrimination, and social exclusion. Many rely on informal or precarious forms of employment, which can include sex work, to sustain their livelihoods.
These circumstances can increase vulnerability to poverty, food insecurity, homelessness, violence, and, in extreme cases, transphobic hate crimes.
Our mission
Strengthening the position and promoting the emancipation of BPOC trans communities in Europe, with an emphasis on:
• Visibility and leadership of trans BPOC people
• Access to trans-specific and sexual health care
• Support for trans sex workers
• HIV prevention and care<
• Labour force participation and economic independence
