Who can make an appointment?
EVERYONE who is part of the trans community is welcome for an appointment at the Amsterdam Trans Clinic. We offer sexual health appointments, free STI testing, free PrEP for the trans community, free vaccinations for MPOX and HepB, and condoms.
For our queer-cis brothers and sisters from the BALLROOM-COMMUNITY: they can also find a safe space at our clinic and make use of our services.
Good to know:
- At our clinic, you don’t need to undress for the nurse or doctor. You will get a swab for self-testing, which you can do in the restroom. The nurse will only draw blood. If you have symptoms, we can discuss if it needs to get looked at.
- Our team is proudly trans dominant. This means the majority of our team members are part of the trans community, and of course we are supported by some cisgender allies that dedicate their work to inclusive sexual health support for the trans community.
- All team members of the Center for Sexual Health have received training from the team of the Trans Clinic, to make sure the services at the GGD are inclusive, and doctors and nurses pay special attention to respect name, identity, pronouns, and personal boundaries.
- If you have more specific questions, know that our team can also help with the following problems or refer you to the relevant colleague:
-
- Sexual Assault Center (CSG: 0800-0188)
-
- Addiction to Chemsex (Chemicals & Sex)
